My name is Karissa Koch and I grew up on a farm near Edenwold Saskatchewan!
I graduated from Greenall High school and was lucky to jump straight into the faculty of
Education at the University of Regina. Growing up I knew I always wanted to be
a teacher and am so grateful that I get to pursue my dreams!
Teaching Philosophy:
To me being a teacher gives me the opportunity to build strong relationships which will guide me in helping my students. I appreciate that this profession allows me to be a lifelong learner and I will forever be gaining knowledge from my students, their families, colleagues and communities. I hold strong belief in putting the needs of my students first and will make sure that I adapt my ways to better meet their needs. I chose this profession because I wanted to be a positive role model for children and help them to be successful; this is exactly what I intent to do.
